O First International Call for Players pretende chamar a atenção para a importância do brincar e do contacto afectuoso nos cuidados da infância. Procuramos bons momentos de brincadeira entre um bebé e um adulto ou entre um bebé e uma criança mais velha registados em video. Alguns destes registos serão seleccionados para integrarem uma instalação e outras iniciativas de carácter artístico a realizar em 2012 no âmbito do projecto Opus Tutti.
Convidam-se profissionais da educação da infância, artistas, pais, irmãos, avós, cuidadores em geral, a enviarem pequenos registos video (entre 20 segundos e 2 minutos) em que seja visível que existe um bom momento de brincadeira e interacção individual com um bebé.
As ideias/videos recebidos serão objecto de selecção para integrarem, posteriormente, uma colecção de métodos e estratégias a colocar em domínio público, de forma a poderem inspirar o quotidiano de outros cuidadores ou a inspirarem a criação artística dirigida à infância.
Os autores dos videos seleccionados figurarão como contribuidores das acções directamente relacionadas do projecto Opus Tutti e receberão uma das publicações da Companhia de Música Teatral.

International Call for Players
The First International Call for Players seeks to call attention to the importance of playing and of affectionate contact in childcare. We are looking for great moments of play between a baby and an adult or between a baby and an older child recorded on video. Some of these recordings will be selected to be part of a fixed piece and other artistic concepts to be shown in 2012 as part of the Opus Tutti project.
We are inviting childcare professionals, artists, parents, siblings, grandparents, carers in general, to send small video recordings (between 20 seconds and 2 minutes) where a memorable moment of play and interaction can be seen to take place between an individual and a baby.
The ideas/videos that are received will be subject to a selection procedure to subsequently make-up a collection of methods and strategies to be placed in the public domain. In this way we can inspire the day-to-day activities of other carers or inspire artistic creation aimed at childhood.
The authors of the videos selected will figure as contributors of the activities directly related to the Opus Tutti project and will receive one of the publications by Companhia de Música Teatral.
