Onde o vento murmura e a chuva canta.

Opus 7 in the Gardens of Gulbenkian

Another step in Peça a Peça (Play to Play). Opus 7 was designed to be presented solo or with the participation of a group of children aged between 6 and 10 years. Experience gained from various exploratory workshops showed the enormous potential of involving children in the work with babies and one of the objectives of the artistic workshop in July was the systematization of its preparation. Various aspects concerned with interacting with children were covered over the course of the workshop, along with a set of preparatory playful activities that provide the basis for learning and participation. This work culminated with two public presentations in the Gardens of Gulbenkian, where parents, children and teachers from the Roseiral crèche were present. “Opus 7 is a Garden. Of sonorous flowers and bees that waltz. Where the wind whispers and rain sings. Where the stars shine while they twinkle on the music boxes. Where birds fly by and casually stay a while. They say that this is the best way to learn to fly.”
