Students of High School meet the younger ones after the presentation of Opus 1
Opus 1 esteve em Vila Nova de Famalicão, na Casa das Artes e na Fundação Castro Alves (freguesia de Bairro). Ao levar PaPI (Peça a Peça Itinerante) a mais freguesias do concelho, a Casa das Artes participa na iniciativa Pontes de PaPI, fazendo com que as vivências artísticas e educativas de Opus Tutti cheguem a mais crianças.
E em Famalicão tivemos uma agradável surpresa, pois surgiu mais uma Ponte de PaPI: os alunos do Curso Profissional do Externato Delfim Ferreira vieram ver Opus 1 e partilharam momentos muito especiais com os seus colegas pequeninos. Aqui ficam alguns dos testemunhos destes alunos do Ensino Secundário:
O trabalho dos intérpretes e de todo o elenco do Opus I é de admirar, uma grande ideia, com fundamentos originais que captam não só a atenção do público alvo (as crianças) mas também todos os outros que assistam a este tipo de peça. O facto das falas serem essencialmente corporais dá um toque especial e uma doçura que nos permite viajar e sonhar para além do que é imaginável.

Foi uma boa experiência poder apreciar como as crianças reagiam aos estímulos. Ajudou-me pelo facto de poder ver uma das possibilidades de trabalhar com crianças e como podemos cativar a atenção delas.

Como alunos de teatro que somos, é sempre bom visualizar algo de diferente em que nos possamos inspirar para um trabalho no nosso futuro. E, depois da visualização da pequena animação às crianças, fiquei a imaginar o porque/qual o motivo das crianças se rirem e quais os momentos que as marcaram mais.

Bridges of PaPI at Famalicão
Opus 1 travelled to Vila Nova de Famalicão: to the Casa das Artes and to the Castro Alves Foundation. By bringing PaPI (Portable Play to Play) to other venues of the municipality, Casa das Artes has joined the Bridges of PaPI initiative thus making the Opus Tutti artistic and educative experiences more widely available.
We had a pleasant surprise in Famalicão where another Bridge of PaPI emerged: a class form from the Professional Course of Externato Delfim Ferreira School joined us to watch Opus 1 and shared very special moments with their younger colleagues. Here statements from these High School students:

The work of all the performers and the whole team of Opus 1 was admirable, a great idea, with original ideas that capture the attention of not just the intended audience (the children) but also all the others who came to see this type of play. The fact that the dialogue mainly used body movements made it somewhat special and sweet, allowing us to voyage to and dream of an imaginary place.

It was a great experience to be able to appreciate how children react to stimulation. It helped me by being able to see one possible way of working with children and how we can captivate their attention.

As we are theatre students, it is always good to be able to see something different where we can gain inspiration for future work. And after seeing the short piece with children, I started to think why/for what reason do children laugh and what are the moments that most impact on them.
